What Sets The Alarm Bells Ringing at a CPA Network?

Applying and getting accepted to a CPA network is among the most important parts of making a future for yourself in internet marketing. When it comes to your application, you want it to be convincing enough that a company will say “Yes, you have our attention – we are convinced that you know enough to do the job, and we will accept you”. There is no point going about this in a timid way – the networks will accept some and reject others, and if you get rejected you will just have to apply somewhere else – or make sure your application is improved and resubmitted.

There are certain things that make a CPA network throw an application directly into the garbage without giving it much thought. One of the most common rookie mistakes is to use a generic email address on your application. If it finishes with @hotmail.com or @gmail.com, then you are going to find it harder to be accepted. It’s no slight on you personally, but most of the scam applicants use generic addresses. When you set up your website, you should have been given a webmaster email account. Use this.

Never leave anything blank on the form. If you leave things out, it looks like you’re hiding something. Even if your honest answer to the question risks making you look bad, fill it in and explain the situation – CPA networks are big on giving chances to those who show they understand the arrangement. Finally, use a genuine phone number and address rather than a PO Box – just like an application for credit, you will want to convince them you are worth it.

Make Your Website Stand Out For CPA Networks

One of the most frequently asked questions about CPA is “Do I need a website in order to get accepted to a network?”. It is a fair question too, as some of the promotions run by CPA advertisers do not actually need to be advertised through a website specifically. There are promotions that will work equally well through social networking. Some CPA networks will accept you without a website, and if you are filled with dread at the prospect of setting up a website for some reason, then you can concentrate on working through them. However if the question is “Do I need a website in order to make real progress?” the answer is “Yes.”

There can be no denying that CPA networks look much more favorably on applicants who have a website to link to. This is a fact. In fact, many networks have a hard and fast rule preventing people from signing up to the network if they do not have a website. The best networks stipulate that you need to have a website, and will check that website to see if it is up to the standards they have come to expect from applicants. Therefore it cannot be a holding page, it should not be a social networking profile, and it should have original content and some concept of design to it.

Think about applying for a credit card or a loan. You have to go through a credit check to show the lender that you are trustworthy, or they won’t lend you the money. With CPA networks, they are staking their reputation on providing good affiliates, so they want you to show that you know what that takes. Give them something good to look at.

Make Your Application Perfect, Get Accepted Instantly

It is one of the mantras you will hear repeated time and again by users of CPA and other internet marketers – getting accepted by a CPA network is absolutely the key to everything else that you will do as a CPA marketer. As long as you can get accepted (and it is not an instant thing, you may need to prove yourself), then the rest of it will become considerably easier. So it makes sense to make the application process a major part of your strategy for making money through CPA. Consider what you can put in your application that will make you an attractive prospect.

When filling out an application for a CPA network, you need to remember that the people reading the application are reading several others each day – so they don’t have time to read War And Peace. You need to decide which information is relevant and which is super-relevant. The most relevant information will be things that set you apart, make you more of a bankable prospect than someone who has simply heard that CPA can be lucrative and has decided to see what it’s about. You need to show you know what it is about and that you will be able to make it all work.

Don’t be shy about selling yourself as a good prospect. If you have done internet marketing before with considerable success then there is plenty of reason to include some facts about what you did and how. If you have a website, make sure to include a link and draw attention to the benefits of the site. You cannot oversell yourself on an application for a CPA network. You will have a limited amount of words, so make sure as many of them are high quality as possible.

CPA And Social Networking

Any novice internet marketer will be interested to hear about all that you can achieve by signing up to a CPA network and letting the money pretty much make itself. However, it is not a good idea to assume that just by signing up to a social network you will immediately guarantee yourself marketing success. This is simply not the case, and you will need to be on the ball to make it work for you in the way the best marketers do. In the present climate, it seems that all roads lead through social networking – Twitter, Facebook and YouTube all have a huge part to play. You would do well to harness this.

Social networking has become one of the key buzz phrases in the internet world in the last five years. Walk into any average room full of people, and the ones who take no part in social networking will be a tiny minority. Most people who use the internet have either a Twitter account, a Facebook profile or some other social networking connection going on. This should give you an idea of the kind of reach that social networking has, and the marketplace it can allow you access to.

In this respect it makes sense to be social network compliant before you begin a CPA strategy. These sites can help you drive endless traffic to the right place and profit from the inevitable rise in actions that pay out for you. They are no substitute for a good website, but they are certainly a good companion to one.

Why Should I Choose CPA? Part Two.

There are more than enough reasons to try out CPA. The fact that many people are taking it up after having tried out countless other forms of internet marketing, and finding that CPA is the one that works for them, should be more than enough to convince you it is worth a try. In case it is not, though, there are other reasons that you ought to consider what CPA can offer you. In many cases this will be substantial, and can make you a lot of money for not much work.

Working With A Network Provides Security: The presence of a middleman in any deal will do more to ensure that both sides are honest in their intentions than any number of other stipulations. CPA networks operate as the middlemen in any promotion transaction. They will not accept promotions that they consider to be dubious – and they have people to check out the deals so as to be sure – and nor will they accept affiliate marketers who appear to know nothing about the medium. Therefore, a key part of business is already taken care of.

CPA Is Flexible: Although you will be expected to have a website for most CPA networks and most promotions, there are ones which specialize in promotions for people who aren’t the greatest website builder. Some even provide specific landing pages that you merely need to host without changing the text. If you know your way around social networking sites like Twitter, then you can direct traffic pretty consistently to good offers – and profit from people’s interest.

Why Should I Choose CPA? Part One.

Many internet marketers these days are turning to CPA as a realistic way of making money online. The evidence is there, too, that it really works, and the fact that once you are signed up to a few networks the work is relatively easy must also be considered a major selling point for the medium. But why is CPA so popular? Well, there are a few reasons for this, and some are as follows:

You Don’t Need To Make A Sales Pitch: Too many internet marketing plans involve trying to sell directly through pressure techniques. This works well for some people, who are never more alive than when they are rolling out a sales pitch that they are convinced will work. Some people, on the other hand, find it uncomfortable to “sell” themselves, or to write a sales page where the language without fail rolls into hyperbole. If you’re trying to convince someone that something will change their life – and it probably won’t – your doubts will show through. If you just show them where the sales pitch is, it’s not so bad.

Many Promotions Are Virtual “Can’t Miss” Material: There is no getting around it, people love getting something for nothing. And many CPA promotions are built on that very premise. Just by signing up for more information on a promotion, people can get free stuff, or money off a deal. A lot of CPA promotions pay off for the affiliate marketer (you!) simply on the basis of getting people to sign up – so some of the promotions you find will guarantee you a slice of the pie – and if there is any direct selling to be done, someone else will do it.

Applying To Join A CPA Network

The popularity of CPA has grown to such an extent in recent years that it is hard to see how it would work without the all-important role of CPA networks as middlemen in the process. Applying to join a network is an essential early step in making CPA work for you, and picking the right network is not something that just happens. It is a good idea to take some rudimentary polling from people you trust in the Internet Marketing world. If these people point you towards a specific company, then you should get to the company website and fill in an online application.

The application form is not particularly long, and the information required is not terribly in-depth either. You do not need to pay to join – at least, not for any reputable CPA network – and if you are asked to it is better to shake your head and look for another network. You will not find that paying to join a network hooks you up with preferential campaigns. It doesn’t work like that.

The network will no doubt have a list of guidelines to which you must adhere in order to join. Many will insist that you have a website that they can look over before permitting you to join. Among those, there will be some networks that insist on specific requirements for your website. If this is the case, and it is a network you are eager to join, then you may consider making changes to your website to ensure acceptance. You are unlikely to be turned down simply on the strength or weakness of your application – but if you are it doesn’t hurt to call them and ask what you can do to improve the chances of acceptance.

The Role Of A CPA Network

The process of signing up to a CPA network is one that is often little understood by new internet marketers. The impression that many have is that it would be a lot easier and more straightforward to just liaise with advertisers one to one. However, the history of CPA has shown that the networks’ role as middlemen in the deal is one which positively benefits both sides. The number of promotions out there which you could theoretically take part in is large, but signing up to a network collects them all under the one banner and allows you to find them more easily.

CPA networks also take care of the payment process – allowing the promoters and the advertisers to concentrate on the things that they are most skilled in doing. They add an element of credibility to both sides which is important in a sector where customers usually do not, and often cannot meet face to face (something which is considered important in terms of building credibility and trust). It is for this reason that the most prestigious CPA networks – and a majority of all the others too – will insist on a phone interview. Their credibility stands and falls on who they accept.

None of this should stand to discourage you from applying for any CPA network. The worst they can do is say no, and there will be several others who will say yes. Some smaller and newer networks do not have an interview requirement, and these may be good ones with which to start your campaigns.

CPA Network Interview Tips

When you are looking to make money from CPA, one of the first steps you will need to take is joining a CPA network. When you have done this, you will be well on the road to making some money through CPA, and many people consider the application to join a network as being the crucial part of the process. Once you have applied to join a network, they can reject your application or accept it as they see fit. They may well ask you to go through a short interview over the phone to assess your suitability for their network – and it is important that you pass it.

The best tip that can be given for making sure a CPA network phone interview goes well is to be able to sell yourself and your business or your website. Have something in mind that defines you and your business and does it in a positive light. It doesn’t need to be something which reinvents the wheel, it simply needs to convince a network that you are worth the effort. Tell them why you chose to join their network, and make it clear that you understand CPA. Sometimes a network will reject applicants because they feel that they are applying because they thought they should, rather than out of an understanding of CPA.

Getting accepted to a top CPA network is a big step on the way to making money from Internet Marketing. Get the interview right and you could be making good money very quickly.

How Do I Get A CPA Account?

Getting started in CPA marketing is not something that comes absolutely naturally to everyone who does it. One of the most important things is getting informed before you take any decisions that could have lasting implications. Among these considerations, there is definitely some importance in deciding the networks that you want to join. One of the reasons this is so important is that you need to apply to join a CPA network – and you may need to go through a short phone interview before your application will be approved, so you’ll want to be well informed.

If you have informed yourself well before beginning the process, you will be ready for the questions that come your way in any phone interview. For example you will be asked if you have a website. This is not such a bizarre question as it may sound – you don’t need to have one, but it will make it a lot easier to get approved for a CPA account. It will also make it a lot easier to control how your ads are placed and viewed, so it is worth getting a website if you don’t already have one.

Your best bet is to sign up for at least three different networks to take the fullest advantage possible of the offers which are available. Which networks these are only you can really decide. The best bet is often to sign up to a couple of internet marketing forums and put your case across – what your niche is, your background and why you are looking to get into CPA. Mostly, people will be happy to help and offer advice on where to apply – and how to get accepted.
